About me
Hi, I'm Linda!
My name is Linda and I am an occupational therapist and a mom to two sweet girls. Since becoming a parent I have learned how overwhelming and challenging it can be to raise children.
Make one search on google or instagram and your feed becomes filled with a variety of posts with different ideas, strategies, tools to purchase, etc. But how do you know where to start??!
It is so hard to know what is best for your child, and even when you do learn what is best for them, how do we find the time to implement the tools to help them?!
As a licensed pediatric occupational therapist, I have several years of experience working directly with children with sensory processing and emotional regulation differences. I have learned that there is often a missing piece to the puzzle when helping children develop their own sensory strategies and coping skills, and that missing piece is caregiver education.
My goal is to be with caregivers every step of the way as they learn about their child’s sensory needs (and even their own sensory needs!). You might be wondering why your child is demonstrating certain behaviors, why are they having frequent meltdowns, why is it so hard for them to focus at school, etc.
I am here to answer these questions for you and help you better understand what your child needs and how you can provide the necessary accommodations and strategies for them to be most successful in their daily activities.
Many children may already be seeing an occupational therapist on a regular basis, but maybe the family has yet to see changes or they are having difficulty implementing strategies given to them by their child’s OT.
My goal is to help you implement these strategies in a way that works for your family. I will take the time to learn about the challenges you and your family are facing and help you figure out sensory accommodations. This can often be a trial and error process so I want to be with you along the way so that you can see real changes for your child.
I can’t wait to work with you!

At The Little Calm Corner, we help bring more calm to your daily routines through sensory-based strategies and tools. Whether it’s getting ready for school, transitioning from playtime to bedtime, or mealtimes, our goal is to help you through the times of day that are most challenging for your child.
